If you like a blast from the past then check this place out. Great food old fashion hospitality and a nice atmosphere set in the 50s.

Wife love this place for breakfast. I really dig the old school decor like 50s. The staff is wonderful and they can cook up a good bacon cheese burger! Give em a try if your downtown Ponca.

Breakfast sandwich was good, didn't blow me away, but fueled the first half of the day. Service was very friendly.

We spotted this attractive looking cafe when we were looking for the Daily Grind Bistro (an awesome place a little further up the street), and decided that we would return the next day and give it a try. MISTAKE! It's a "give your order" at the counter type of place. One of my friends ordered a burger without the bun and without mustard. It came out with, instead of without. She chose not to return it, because of the 20 minute wait time. Even though I had ordered immediately after her, it took an additional 12 minutes to get my order. The Jacked-up Chicken was delish, however, the onion roll was soggy. Last but not least the third member of our party ordered a burger, with everything. 20 minutes for my first friend's order to come out, then 12 minutes more for my order to be announced, and add an additional 10 minutes waiting time for the last order. The first person was almost done eating before the last person had his food. The burgers that were so troublesome were not that good--they looked like greyish brown hocky-pucks. $5 is a lot of money for a hockey-puck. I give credit to the counter lady, who when asked if the tortilla soup was homemade said--no, it comes in a frozen block. I do appreciate honesty. Next to the ordering counter was a big tub of ice stocked with bottles of grape soda and root beer. At least we had something yummy to drink while we waited, and waited and waited for our food.

My favorite is the pickelos, because they are often hard to beat! The curly fries are delicious and my husband loves their hamburgers.

What Beck H says is true. They are very S-L-O-W. And not that good.
